Both the Vanmade® Original Mattress and the Sleeping Cushion are made from high-quality foams that are temperature- and shape-stable, with a high density of at least 40 kg/m³. They provide consistent comfort – even with changing temperatures inside the vehicle. Durable covers, clean workmanship, and passionate production in our workshop make both products ideal for mobile use in the Touran.

Perfect for lower build heights

The VW Touran’s trunk has limited height. Both products are designed precisely for this and can be ordered starting from a height of 4 cm. For the perfect sleeping solution, a height between 8 cm and 14 cm is ideal. The higher the mattress or cushion, the more options you have for selecting the firmness level. As a rule of thumb – the lower the mattress or cushion, the firmer it should be. We recommend the soft firmness level from a height of 10 cm.

For the Touran mattress, you can choose from different cover types, each specifically designed for its intended use. The Vanmade® Original Mattress features a soft, smooth top fabric that provides high sleeping comfort and allows you to sink in more deeply, while the underside is particularly durable – ideal for frequent storage or contact with the vehicle floor. The Sleeping Cushion, on the other hand, uses robust upholstery fabrics designed for even tension, creating a calm and more supportive surface. Mattresses are designed for optimal sleep. Upholstery is designed for optimal sitting. Of course, you can also sit on the mattress or sleep on the upholstery, but the focus is clear. Our mattresses have a thin knitted cover around the foam core, as well as a flexible and soft mattress cover. The cushions are made with a padded foam core and a robust cushion cover. A cushion is always slightly firmer than a mattress of the same height and hardness.

If your focus is purely on sleeping, we recommend the Vanmade® Original Mattress. If you prefer something more colourful and would also like to sit on the surface, we recommend our cushions. A cushion is always slightly harder than a mattress of the same height and firmness.
You can easily enter the dimensions of the individual parts one after the other in our online configurator and then add them to your shopping basket – this is how you create your multi-part mattress. If you wish, you can also select practical features on the Vanmade® Original mattress such as Velcro strips on the underside.
The Vanmade® Original mattress can be ordered in separate parts, with a folding function or zip connections, as well as with Velcro strips on the underside. Our cushions can also be designed to be foldable and with Velcro strips on the underside. Alternatively, there is the option of attaching anti-slip strips to the underside – we can cater to all your needs.
