If your VW T6.1 is used as a seating area during the day and as a sleeping space at night, the Vanmade® Seat & Sleeping Cushion is the right choice. The balanced, medium-firm foam provides comfortable seating during the day and stable, medium-firm lying comfort at night at a recommended height of about 8–12 cm – ideal for body weights up to around 90 kg. Even with a build height starting at 8 cm, the cushion can be easily used in limited spaces. For the visual design, you can choose from our durable fabric options Classic, Coarse, Velour, or Cord – available in over 100 colors.

Restful Sleep Even with Lower Build Heights

In the VW T6.1, the available height is often limited – and that’s exactly where Vanmade® solutions show their strengths. The Vanmade® Original Mattress remains cozy and supportive even at low heights, while the Seat & Sleeping Cushion impresses with its balanced, medium-firm structure, serving as both a seating surface during the day and a comfortable sleeping area at night. We recommend a minimum height of 8 cm for body weights up to around 85 kg. This way, you can use your camper flexibly without compromising on comfort.

If your focus is purely on sleeping, we recommend the Vanmade® Original Mattress. If you prefer something more colourful and would also like to sit on the surface, we recommend our cushions. A cushion is always slightly harder than a mattress of the same height and firmness.

Mattresses are designed for optimal sleep. Upholstery is designed for optimal sitting. Of course, you can also sit on the mattress or sleep on the upholstery, but the focus is clear. Our mattresses have a thin knitted cover around the foam core, as well as a flexible and soft mattress cover. The cushions are made with a padded foam core and a robust cushion cover. A cushion is always slightly firmer than a mattress of the same height and hardness.

You can easily enter the dimensions of the individual parts one after the other in our online configurator and then add them to your shopping basket – this is how you create your multi-part mattress. If you wish, you can also select practical features on the Vanmade® Original mattress such as Velcro strips on the underside.
The Vanmade® Original mattress can be ordered in separate parts, with a folding function or zip connections, as well as with Velcro strips on the underside. Our cushions can also be designed to be foldable and with Velcro strips on the underside. Alternatively, there is the option of attaching anti-slip strips to the underside – we can cater to all your needs.
