The Vanmade® Original Mattress is the ideal solution for the VW Caddy when high sleeping comfort is the priority. The continuous high-resilience cold foam core with a high density of at least 40kg/m³ provides stable support, excellent elasticity, and a pleasant sleeping climate – even with low build heights. The soft Mountain top fabric offers high lying comfort and allows you to sink in more flexibly, while the durable Cordura underside makes the mattress particularly resistant. Optionally foldable, equipped with Velcro fastenings underneath or a zipper connection, the mattress can be used flexibly and easily stored – perfect for everyday life on the road in the Caddy.

The Vanmade® Sleeping Cushion is a compact and functional sleeping solution for the VW Caddy when low build height and easy handling are important. The high-quality cold foam core with a density of at least 40kg/m³ offers pleasant and more supportive sleeping comfort in softer or medium-firm firmness levels and is ideal for trunk sleeping setups or modular conversion concepts. Thanks to its durable upholstery cover, the Sleeping Cushion is perfectly designed for frequent handling.

In the VW Caddy, the available height is often limited. That’s why you can order the Vanmade® Original and the Sleeping Cushion starting from a height of 4 cm. Both the Vanmade® Original Mattress and the Sleeping Cushion are designed to provide pleasant support and stable sleeping comfort even at lower heights. For optimal comfort, we recommend a minimum height of 8 cm – allowing you to lie comfortably and sink in pleasantly.

For the VW Caddy, two proven solutions are available: The Vanmade® Original Mattress is clearly aimed at those who focus on pure and comfortable sleep. The flexible cover allows you to sink in more and adapts to your body. The Sleeping Cushion is ideal if you’re looking for a compact, flexible solution that also adds a touch of color to your Caddy. The cover is less flexible but extremely durable. Both versions are custom-made to your measurements and can be perfectly integrated into existing conversion concepts.

That’s why we rely on durable, shape-retaining foams and high-quality covers. The Sleeping Cushion impresses with robust upholstery fabrics designed for frequent handling and provides a slightly firmer sleeping surface. The Vanmade® Original Mattress combines a breathable foam core with a softer, more flexible cover that allows you to sink in more – but you should definitely use a fitted sheet or protector to increase the longevity of the cover.

No, our online configurator automatically creates a drawing once you have entered all the dimensions and the desired shape. However, if it helps you visualise the design, you can make a sketch for yourself. If your basic shape cannot be displayed, please send us a message and we will assist you.

Mattresses are designed for optimal sleep. Upholstery is designed for optimal sitting. Of course, you can also sit on the mattress or sleep on the upholstery, but the focus is clear. Our mattresses have a thin knitted cover around the foam core, as well as a flexible and soft mattress cover. The cushions are made with a padded foam core and a robust cushion cover. A cushion is always slightly firmer than a mattress of the same height and hardness.

You are also welcome to order your mattress or upholstery with curves. Simply send us a drawing of your desired configuration by e-mail to support@vanmade.de and we will prepare a customised quote for you. You can find the drawing templates HERE. Please note that radii of less than 5 cm cannot be taken into account for production reasons.
The Vanmade® Original mattress can be ordered in separate parts, with a folding function or zip connections, as well as with Velcro strips on the underside. Our cushions can also be designed to be foldable and with Velcro strips on the underside. Alternatively, there is the option of attaching anti-slip strips to the underside – we can cater to all your needs.
Thanks to its robust Cordura base fabric, the Vanmade® Original mattress is also suitable for outdoor use. Whether you want to relax in your roof tent or lie under the open sky, the Vanmade is ready for any adventure.
