If you are looking for a folding mattress that will be moved/stored frequently or used outdoors, the Vanmade® Original is ideal: Cordura® fabric on the bottom, Mountain fabric on the top and high-resilience cold foam for lasting comfort – even with frequent folding. With a height of 4 cm, it also fits in small spaces.
Our 7-zone and mattress landscape are also available in a folding version. For the 7-zone, we recommend choosing as few folds as possible to maintain the ergonomic zones. The mattress landscape with a checkered pattern is particularly suitable for modular bed systems with several elements – foldable or individual, without noticeably reducing lying comfort.

The cost of a foldable camping mattress depends on various factors, such as the exact dimensions, the selected height and any special shapes such as slopes or corners. In our online configurator, you can customise your folding mattress and immediately see the price and weight. If your desired shape is not included in the configurator, you can send us a sketch with your individual dimensions. To do this, use our drawing template and send it back to us by email at support@vanmade.de – we will then prepare a personalised quote for you.
All our folding mattresses are equipped with removable polyester covers for easy care. These covers can be easily washed at 40 degrees in the washing machine, keeping your sleeping area in the camper hygienic and clean. If you want even more protection, an extra soft lying comfort or to make the folding edges disappear, you can add our gel foam topper or fitted sheet to your folding mattress. These protect your mattress and increase its longevity.

In general, a thicker folding mattress offers greater sleeping comfort, as the additional foam density provides better support and pressure relief. Especially on longer trips or for frequent use in a camper or motorhome, it is advisable to choose the maximum height that your vehicle allows. This ensures optimal sleep and increases your well-being, regardless of the duration of your adventures.
The lower the foam, the firmer the degree of hardness should be. From around 10 cm, you can also choose a softer option – the height will then ensure sufficient comfort. Our online configurator helps you determine the right height and degree of hardness with a recommendation scale.
