The pilling or linting of fabrics are natural processes that cannot be completely prevented. Color transfer from fabrics with intense or dark colors onto lighter fabrics is unavoidable. When pulling on the surface, individual threads may come loose. For technical reasons, slight color tone variations are possible.

Abrasion resistance indicates how resistant a fabric is to friction. The higher the value, the more robust and durable the material is – ideal for heavily used upholstery in campers or at home.

What do the abrasion cycle values mean?

Abrasion cycles indicate how resistant a fabric is to friction. A material is considered very durable and ideal for everyday use if it can withstand 20,000 abrasion cycles or more. Fabrics with higher values, such as 50,000 or even 100,000 abrasion cycles, are particularly robust – perfect if your upholstery is regularly subjected to heavy use. Does my cushion always come with a cover?

All our cushions are always manufactured as finished products. If you would like something different, please take a look at our accessories.

In which direction is the corduroy fabric arranged on my upholstery configuration?

Usually the corduroy fabric is always perpendicular to your configuration. If you would like something different, please send us your request as soon as possible, quoting your VM number, to support@vanmade.de and we will adjust your order accordingly.

When do I need a mattress cover or upholstery cover?

If you want to sleep on your foam cut-out, choose a mattress cover. For sitting, we recommend the upholstery cover.
