Abrasion cycles indicate how resistant a fabric is to friction. A material is considered very durable and ideal for everyday use if it can withstand 20,000 abrasion cycles or more. Fabrics with higher values, such as 50,000 or even 100,000 abrasion cycles, are particularly robust – perfect if your upholstery is regularly subjected to heavy use. This means you can find the right fabric for every application – from cosy interiors to intensive everyday camper use.
